During Hope College Day of Giving, you'll have the opportunity to give to the following departments and programs:
Study Abroad (international off-campus study)
Hope students can choose from more than 300 academic off-campus study programs in over 60 countries across six continents. Participating in off-campus study is an incredibly valuable part of a well-rounded liberal arts education and it equips our students to lead and serve in our global society.
Vienna Summer School
Consisting of two consecutive three-week sessions, the Vienna Summer School offers students a choice of work in Austrian art and architecture, intercultural communication, Austrian history, Vienna's musical traditions, empires, cultural anthropology and a Senior Seminar, all taught in English, as well as courses in the German language, taught in German. Students are housed with Austrian families, and are free to plan their leisure time and take weekend excursions led by Dr. Stephen Hemenway to places like Salzburg, Venice, Budapest, Prague and the Austrian Alps.
Washington Honors Semester
Washington Honors Semester combines the intimacy of the Hope classroom with exhilaration of one of the most globally engaged cities in the world. This exciting, engaging and formative semester is an experiential education program that brings students to the nation’s capital with a Hope faculty member.
