Hope is proud to be part of the Holland community. Hope's campus is home to several programs that directly serve Holland and West Michigan.
During Hope College Day of Giving, you'll have the opportunity to give to the following departments and programs:
CASA - Children's After School Achievement
CASA helps at-risk elementary students by providing free after-school tutoring and individualized summer school in addition to other educational and cultural enrichment programs.
ExploreHope Science Camps
Hope pre-professional students manage, plan and run educational programs for K–12 students and teachers in the community. Student cohorts focus on programs in their area of study while learning teamwork, project management, curriculum development and instructional skills that are required in their future careers.
HSRT - Hope Summer Repertory Theatre
HSRT is West Michigan’s premiere professional theatre company. HSRT produces plays and educational programs of the highest professional standards that address the needs of, and enhance the quality of life for, Hope College and the community. Part of our mission is to provide educational opportunities for the youth in our community. We hope that by providing these experiences, participants will develop a lifelong love of theatre.
Step Up
Step Up helps middle school students succeed in school and develop their future potential by caring for their social, emotional and academic needs within a mentoring context.
Upward Bound
Upward Bound is designed to work with high school students from first-generation college and low-income families to help develop the motivation and academic skills necessary to complete high school and work toward enrollment at a four-year college or university.
